Has my friend's alcoholic father affected her?

My friend's dad is an alcoholic. They haven't seen each other in 12 years and she hates him. Her parents divorced when she was 3. He emotionally abused her, called her names, been picked up for drunk driving.I have noticed the last couple of years if she doesn't like someone she says she is going to snap at them and hates them. She tends to give out negative energy when I am around her. She is also a perfectionist, saying she is perfect. Is her behaviour the affect from her alcoholic father?
