Spiritually speaking, what is your opinion of patriotism?

Not a bad thing in modest amounts. Like most things becomes a negative force and bad trait when taken to extreme. Patriotism can cause one to take pride in their country and want to continue to do things that exemplify its good qualities. On the flip side it can make one deaf to honest criticism and blind to real faults, arrogant, and justified in bad behavior.
