Girls, particularly shyish ones: would you find this weird?

If she likes you she will find it flattering that you took the time to find her email, but if she isn't interested yet she might find it creepy. I would hold off on emailing her for a little bit. Talk to her again next time you see her and maybe suggest that you get together to work on an ignment or something. if she wants to work on your homework together then say, "sweet! Well what is your number? I'll text you later and let you know what time works for me." Now you get her number and a study date. I definitely think she sounds interested, so slowly pursue a friendship and then when you get to know her more you will be able to decide if anything more is a possibility. Good luck!
