What to choose?! easy 10 points?

ok so my 12 year old friend has a little dilemma. For Christmas she got a computer, but her monitor has a big crack in it. That was basically her only present and she was really upset because she asked for a laptop or an ipod touch and she didn't get either, when her sister got a 2nd Dsi! She had an argument with her parents and they're the letting her choose between getting an Ipod touch or a new monitor. Now she really wants an Ipod touch but she uses the computer quite often. She would be able to get on the internet with her Ipod touch but the computer is more versatile. What in your opinion should she choose?!
