Why do LIBS have trouble debating based on facts and salient points?

Oftentimes the posts of liberals on the Yahoo! boards betray a vapid nature and a steadfast refusal to engage other individuals regarding salient points, instead consisting of vile screeds full of base invective and grammatically challenged vulgarity. Even when civil, LIBERALS debate based on emotion, and willfully disregard any and all salient facts that might be pertinent to the argument at hand.
