Where can I find a really cheap car that starts?

I'm looking for really cheap junk cars that can run. I'm just going to race them on a privately owned farm in the middle of nowhere, so they don't need registration or anything. They don't even have to be fast, but I'm definitely looking for under $1000...$500 or less would be even better. If anybody knows of any cars like this or a place where I can get one, that would be great. Also, I live in the Morgantown, WV area, near Pittsburgh, PA, so if it's farther than 3 or 4 hours it won't do any good. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
