Should i be concerned?

I have cardiomyopathy, but havent had any trouble with it for about 2 yrs. My EF is 35 as of about 4 months ago. Today i woke up and my feet and ankles are very swollen. It is hot out, but its been hot for the past 2 yrs and i never had this before. I have an appt with my cardiologist for my normal 6 month checkup on the 13th..can this wait to be brought up until then, or should i go to an after hours clinic or something?
