Help! Question about the Big Bang Theory?

I believe it was in 2008 or so that scientists and NASA tried recreating the big bang theory in the center of the earth. There was one scientist that tried suing NASA that this experiment could cause a detrimental effect in the near future if they proceed with this experiment. But no one believed him and proceeded with the reenactment of the Big Bang Theory. Can someone help me find an article with info in it? I remember the article clearly cus it was on AOL's main page and I commented on it. I just can find that article or any like this anywhere.
